Amble Cottage is a stone-built Lakeland cottage in the market town of Ambleside, southern Lake District, Cumbria. It sits at the northern end of Windermere and offers direct access to some of the best walking routes in the Lake District. Stone walls, slate flooring and original features give it a genuinely characterful feel inside.
Ambleside is a proper working market town with independent shops, pubs and eateries all within walking distance. Stock Ghyll Force is a short stroll along the river. Waterhead Pier is nearby for cruises on Windermere. Grizedale Forest and Coniston Water are both within 10 miles.
