Nearby Ambleside Pier, 3.5 miles, is the launch point for scenic boat trips on Windermere. Bring your hiking boots as there are plenty of walks nearby, from the gentler slopes of Loughrigg Fell to the challenging Cat Bell, within 10 miles. Brockhole on Windermere, 5 miles away, is the gateway to a range of activities on and off the water. Alternatively, head 6 miles to Grizedale Forest, where you'll find mountain bike and walking trails for all abilities, amidst breathtaking woodland scenery. Access to this characterful cottage is via steps to the entrance, where you'll step into the long hallway with ample space to hang your outdoor coats. Off the hallway, you'll find a spacious and open-plan living area with lovely, tiled flooring. The decor and furnishings are fresh, vibrant and relaxing, creating a warm welcome, so you can all unwind fully during your stay. The seating area features comfortable seating for you to relax in after a day of adventures in the Lakes. Enjoy a lazy afternoon tea or bring a warm drink and enjoy the entertainment on the TV.
