It sits within 51 acres of shared grounds and offers direct private lake access to Windermere half a mile of waterfront with a private jetty. No hot tub here but honestly the lake more than makes up for it.
The south-facing rear courtyard is great for al fresco dining. The shallow bay is safe for paddleboarding and paddling. Launching a dinghy or kayak from the private jetty needs prior arrangement. Hawkshead is 3. 5 miles away a car-free village with eateries and galleries.
