Loved the house, 2 minute walk to the harbour. Even though on a Main Street it was nice and quiet. Was extremely comfortable and clean and well appointed. Easy parking behind the house and a lovely phone call from the owner informing me of the new lockbox code. Loved it would stay again

Redshank is an extremely comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage. Well situated to enjoy the friendly town of Amble and the Northumbrian coast and surrounding countryside. The lovely welcome pack and friendly contact from the owner was much appreciated. Highly recommended.

We had a great week at Redshank. The house is warm and cosy. The beds are comfy. The house has everything you need for a holiday. Parking was great too.

Just spent an amazing Christmas at Redshank. A lovely house beautifully decorated for Xmas. Thankyou so much for the welcome pack, really appreciated! There is nothing that you need to bring, they have thought of everything. Situated 200 yards from quayside with plenty of lovely eating places. Plenty of walks from the door, especially if you have a dog. Great green area to rear for that last walk at night. Thankyou, we highly recommend this property! John, Josie & Poppy.

We have been coming to Amble for at least 10 years and this is one of the nicest properties we have stayed in. The property was absolutely gorgeous. It felt like walking into a home, it was cosy and comfortable and very well equipped with everything you could possibly want. I must mention the wonderful bath sheets, fluffy and soft! The welcome pack was much appreciated. The owners were very helpful when we contacted them prior to the stay. The location was perfect, a few minutes walk to the high street and harbour. The beaches were close by, brilliant for dogs! We would truly recommend Redshank for a relaxed stay.

A very welcoming place to stay. Very clean and plenty of equipment cooking and cleaning. Ideally situated for visiting the area. Communication from the owner was excellent.

Very spacious, clean and comfortable. The welcome pack was very much appreciated, thank you. Had to turn the air fresheners off and we had problems with Sky. However we did have a brilliant time.

Lovely cottage Clean and bright nice welcome pack helpful owners that let us know when the cottage was ready. Close to all amenities pub's and restaurants with added bonus of off road parking we would recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay at Redshank. This was the best equipped holiday accommodation weve ever stayed in. The owners had thought of everything. And the standard of cleanliness was first rate. The property is two minutes from the lovely harbour and not far from an amazing beach. We would recommend 100.

Nice property in a good location. Stairs a bit tricky due to narrowness Shower pressure weak but still did the job. No steak knifes but otherwise well stocked.would be happy to recommend this property.

This is a well appointed property in a super location from which to explore the beautiful coastline. We ate out several times and found the local eateries to be of a high standard. The owners very helpfully informed us when the property was available for early access. With the heating being off for the summer period we found the house somewhat chilly but werent in enough to use the log burner. A more instant source of heat in the living room would be useful.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Redshank Cottage. Brilliant location for the beach and Marina. Nice little patio to sit and a safe space for my Whippet x Saluki Barney too. The cottage is lovely, very clean and spacious. It's well equipped. It's home from home for me. Lovely welcoming treats on arrival. Perfect place to celebrate my 65th birthday!!

This was a perfect break for us ! The cottage was immaculate and welcoming. It was in a perfect location and in walking distance to many amenities including boat trips , restaurants , pubs, dog walks , beaches , pharmacies and shops . When we had a small issue with the tv not coming on I called the owner who immediately contacted the housekeepers . Within 5 minutes he had arrived and changed the batteries in the remote control. Job done!! Nothing was too much trouble . We are already considering a return to redshank . Well done to the team involved . Fantastic

We had a lovely stay. The cottage was very comfortable and warm which is really important in February. The whole place was clean, well cared for and well laid out. Big, comfortable bed and lots of wardrobe space and general storage space. The welcome pack was a nice touch.

A very pleasant experience. Property is clean, tidy and well equipped. Good furnishings and a decent bed. Well placed in Amble for, pretty much, everything.

Our third visit to Redshank. Very clean and well maintained property thats perfect for a couple. Lovely welcome pack. Central location near to shops, bars and restaurants. Great beaches nearby at Warkworth and Druridge Bay. Freshly caught fish bought several times straight off the harbour in Amble. Spotted some sea lions one evening in the harbour. Cant wait for our next visit.

Perfect stay. Redshank was beautifully decorated for Christmas, was warm & comfortable and the owner had thought of everything. We love Amble and the surrounding areas and have stayed a few times but this was our first stay at Redshank. Very close to the harbour & all the amenities we would definitely stay again & recommend. Thank you so much to the owners for the welcome gifts too, they were very much appreciated

We found Redshank to be a beautiful holiday home that was equipped with everything you could need for your stay. We only booked a short break but the little touches made us feel very welcome. The location of the house was handy for the shops and the harbour area. We walked to the Harbour Inn one day and Id highly recommend this pub for food & drinks. It has a dog friendly section which was ideal for us.

Wonderful property. Wonderful location. As a couple on holiday we would prefer to have a dishwasher rather than a washing machine, otherwise perfect

Loved staying here ! Everything was spot on . Well equipped for a self catering stay . If I had to nit pick , the pizza tray is too big for the oven , so the oven door wouldn't close , just cut the pizza in half , problem solved. Would definitely book Redshank again if I was returning to Amble. Up to press , it is the best accommodation, that we have stayed in so far. 10 out of 10

Really lovely cottage, perfect location for the town, restaurants, cafes and beaches. Little extras left by the hosts were much appreciated. The cleanliness was second to none and every time we walked in we got a lovely smell all the week we were there. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay again in a heartbeat!

Arrived to a lovely gift. The cottage was lovely very well equipped. Its also near to the harbour and beach the hut shops and high street were very friendly. Thinking of going back next year

Everything we needed was provided it was comfortable, exceptionally wellequipped and clean. Big fluffy towels also appreciated. Very close to the harbour and shops. Lots to see and do within half an hour's drive, too.

Excellent location. Everything we needed was there and lots of space. The outside courtyard was lovely to sit in at the end of a busy day. Really appreciated the goodies left for us. Beds comfortable. Overall an incredibly good holiday home. Thank you.

This property is a credit to it's owner. Lovely touches throughout and the quality of the furnishings tasteful. The location is excellent for all the town facilities and safe parking. The weather could have been kinder so we could have enjoyed the cute little patio area at the rear. Just a short drive from Druridge Bay, beautiful beach, and nature park with loads of walking and cycling trails. Great area all round and five star accommodation, would definitely recommend.

The cottage was just right for myself and partner very clean and homely. Parking at the rear was great. We both had great sleep on the kingsize bed.The harbour was a very short stroll away and there are so many visitor attractions all easily accessible.All in all a lovely cottage and comfortable and well presented.Thank you John and Sylvie

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Redshank. The property was clean, comfortable and well equipped, and the welcoming goodies were a lovely touch! The location was also excellent with a very short walk to the harbour and town centre. Lots to visit including the Sunday Market, the very good restaurants The Old Boat House and The Fish Shack, The Harbour Inn and the many dogfriendly cafes. Warkworth, Alnwick, Morpeth, Newbiggin are all well within reach as well as numerous splendid beaches. The strong winds prevented us from getting out to see the puffins so we'll have to return!

Our second stay her. A great cottage. Very clean and well presented. A thoughtful welcome gift on arrival and milk etc to make a drink. Good location only a short stroll from the harbour and shops. Lots of nice beaches and places to visit close by. No hesitation in recommending this property. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

Absolutely lovely cottage in a perfect location. Clean and modern style, a perfect home from home for the week. The owner couldn't have been more helpful and communication was excellent.
