We have been coming to Amble for at least 10 years and this is one of the nicest properties we have stayed in. The property was absolutely gorgeous. It felt like walking into a home, it was cosy and comfortable and very well equipped with everything you could possibly want. I must mention the wonderful bath sheets, fluffy and soft! The welcome pack was much appreciated. The owners were very helpful when we contacted them prior to the stay. The location was perfect, a few minutes walk to the high street and harbour. The beaches were close by, brilliant for dogs! We would truly recommend Redshank for a relaxed stay.

This is a well appointed property in a super location from which to explore the beautiful coastline. We ate out several times and found the local eateries to be of a high standard. The owners very helpfully informed us when the property was available for early access. With the heating being off for the summer period we found the house somewhat chilly but werent in enough to use the log burner. A more instant source of heat in the living room would be useful.

This was a perfect break for us ! The cottage was immaculate and welcoming. It was in a perfect location and in walking distance to many amenities including boat trips , restaurants , pubs, dog walks , beaches , pharmacies and shops . When we had a small issue with the tv not coming on I called the owner who immediately contacted the housekeepers . Within 5 minutes he had arrived and changed the batteries in the remote control. Job done!! Nothing was too much trouble . We are already considering a return to redshank . Well done to the team involved . Fantastic

We found Redshank to be a beautiful holiday home that was equipped with everything you could need for your stay. We only booked a short break but the little touches made us feel very welcome. The location of the house was handy for the shops and the harbour area. We walked to the Harbour Inn one day and Id highly recommend this pub for food & drinks. It has a dog friendly section which was ideal for us.

Loved staying here ! Everything was spot on . Well equipped for a self catering stay . If I had to nit pick , the pizza tray is too big for the oven , so the oven door wouldn't close , just cut the pizza in half , problem solved. Would definitely book Redshank again if I was returning to Amble. Up to press , it is the best accommodation, that we have stayed in so far. 10 out of 10

Really lovely cottage, perfect location for the town, restaurants, cafes and beaches. Little extras left by the hosts were much appreciated. This property is a credit to it's owner. Lovely touches throughout and the quality of the furnishings tasteful. The location is excellent for all the town facilities and safe parking. The weather could have been kinder so we could have enjoyed the cute little patio area at the rear. Just a short drive from Druridge Bay, beautiful beach, and nature park with loads of walking and cycling trails. Great area all round and five star accommodation, would definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Redshank. The property was clean, comfortable and well equipped, and the welcoming goodies were a lovely touch! The location was also excellent with a very short walk to the harbour and town centre. Lots to visit including the Sunday Market, the very good restaurants The Old Boat House and The Fish Shack, The Harbour Inn and the many dogfriendly cafes. Warkworth, Alnwick, Morpeth, Newbiggin are all well within reach as well as numerous splendid beaches. The strong winds prevented us from getting out to see the puffins so we'll have to return!
