Had a great week in Amble staying in The Wynding Apartment. It is a very comfortable, clean and welcoming place. Great views from the windows and close to amenities, and has parking space! The owner was very helpful and obviously takes great care and pride in her apartment. It was a holiday home we were happy to return to each day and we will certainly think about staying there again if we get back to Northumberland.

This accomodation is wonderful. Location fantastic, great views and 5 min walk to centre of amble. Plenty of interesting things to do in local area. Apartment itself is beautiful with lots of care and attention gone into it. Great communication from owner and was amazing in flexibility when we had a family emergency. Can't praise the place and owner highly enough.

We stayed here over Christmas and had a wonderful break. The apartment was spotless and beautifully decorated for the festive season, which made it feel extra special. The views were stunning, and the location gave us easy access to some lovely walks along the coast. The apartment warmed up quickly, which was great for those chilly winter days. The beds were absolutely fine, and we appreciated having a choice of pillows to suit different sleeping styles. Communication with the owner was smooth and easy via email. One thing to note the property does involve stairs, so it might not be ideal for anyone with mobility issues, but this is clearly stated in the listing. And finally, the biggest complaint? The jigsaw puzzle had a few pieces missing! But honestly, if thats the worst thing we can say, you know it was a great stay.

This apartment is clearly loved and well maintained by it's owner, Janet. It is perfectly situated for everything Amble has to offer, with easy access to shops, pubs and restaurants. We soon felt at home thanks to a lovely welcome pack of biscuits, crisps, milk, crumpets, bread and butter. Also we were presently surprised to find a lovely Christmas tree and decorations everywhere. We really enjoyed our stay.

I booked this as a surprise birthday getaway for my partner and it was absolutely perfect! We both had the best time, the flat was super cosy and welcoming. There was very little noise, the view was fantastic, I couldn't fault it. Perfect spot for the Northumberland coast and various castles. Already checking next year's diary to see when we could go back again!

The apartment was lovely and very clean. The location was also great as it was just a short walk to the centre harbour. Great welcome pack with essentials such as milk, cereal and bread plus a really comprehensive information pack on places to eat, visit etc. The owner was also in touch to check that we were ok and was contactable if we needed anything. Not a negative but advice to anyone travelling with small children, we took a portable travel blind for our toddlers window as the room was quite light due to the blinds and it being a summer stay. Overall, lovely stay and great location would definitely recommend.

A perfect apartment for a stay in Northumberland. The apartment is recently renovated and beautifully furnished, with a lot of thought put into comfort and fittings. The views from the living room are stunning double aspect with sea and countryside vistas. It was so peaceful and tranquil. The owner Janet is so helpful and clearly really cares about your stay. Weve been to Northumberland a few times but normally further north. Amble has tonnes to offer, a beautiful harbour, beach and lots of shops, cafes and restaurants. Theres a Tesco express a few minutes walk away and a Morrisons 5 mins drive away. The apartment is centrally located so perfect for exploring. The car park is communal but was never an issue to park. We stayed with two young children and it was ideal, wed love to return again in the future. We ate at the Wellwood Arms and The Amble Inn and would recommend both, especially for families. We visited Warkworth beach and Druridge Bay Country Parkboth are stunning beaches. We also visited Morpeth in the rain which was great to explore. Highly recommend and really hope to return soon, it was the perfect mini getaway with the kids.

The property was well maintained and had all facilities needed. Really comfortable. Lovely views from the main room. Parking was easy and there are plenty of things to do within walking distance as well as by car. Also handy for the local bus.

Fantastic apartment with everything you could need and more. Lovely touches such as milk in the fridge, a tea tray left out and mince pies. The location is ideal with amenities within a short walk. Roughly in the centre of the Northumbrian coast so a good place to stay to explore the whole area.

The apartment was very nice just a few minor things. Dishwasher but no dishwasher tablets so had to buy some. No instructions for the oven the dials are not self explanatory unless you are familiar with the symbols. One bread knife that had been been left in the dishwasher so wasn't aware there was one so I ended up buying 2 knives as there wasn't any except for three very small ones that weren't that useful.

Another great visit to the lovely harbour town of Amble. The apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our short break. Good location at the top of the high street and opposite the pub. Really good communication from the owner. We only found the coat hangers and rail in a cupboard as we were leaving so, could have done with some hooks on the back of the bedroom doors for coats etc. We were in the top apartment which gave us great views but the stairs may be a problem for some people. Would recommend this apartment as a fab place to stay and enjoy all the great places to visit in the area.

We stayed at Wynding apartment for a week. It as everything you need home from home. Very spacious and comfortable , the views are fantastic. Close to all amenities , Harbour , shops, pubs and walks. There was a welcome pack waiting , it was a lovely gesture. We would definitely recommend staying at this apartment.

A beautiful apartment in perfect location, clean, comfortable & warm with fantastic views . Appreciated the welcome pack & helpful suggestions for early & late night dog walks . Lots of great eating places close by all very dog friendly. Enjoyed using the brilliant binoculars ! Would love to return there's so much to see in this area & would stay here again. Thanks !

We had a lovely week in Amble! Location of the apartment is perfect, Janet provided so much information on what to do and where to go. The apartment is kept so beautifully and we loved our welcome pastries! Couldnt recommend enough!

We arrived after a long journey up from the South and there was no milk at all. Even a couple of hotel milk jiggers would have been welcomed. The welcome hamper had 4 sachets of jam and a packet of biscuits which was barely better than nothing. There were no curtains in the bedroom other than a cheap blind which meant, as it is high summer, that we were woken up very early by the daylight. I would have expected there to be curtains to give us the option to cut out the light if we wanted to. The bed was very very soft which caused us broken sleep. There were some old flowers left in a vase on the table which were well over 10 days old and pretty disgusting by the time we got there. Apart from these issues, the flat was comfortable and cosy. The road noise outside was not too disruptive and the views were good. It was possible to heat the cottage which was needed in an unseasonably cold July. We didnt use the dishwasher because there were no tablets left out for us. I discovered at the end of the holiday, having stripped the beds and left them outside the apartment that there is a box of supplies available which had more jam sachets and dishwasher tablets I only found these as we were leaving. I would chose Sykes again as this was a quality cottage but I would have expected the points I have raised above to be included in a property costing over 150 per night.

A first class apartment, ideally located for all of Ambles amenities. Off road parking provided, also a lovely welcome pack and complimentary bread, milk and mince pies which was a treat. Would recommend the accommodation to all.

Great position, lovely cosy apartment. The owner was really helpful and very approachable.

Cosy flat , good base to explore. My only minor criticism is with Sykes descripition.While there is a private car park it is not big enough for all the residents so the space is on a first come first serve basis. This isn't made clear by Sykes. After a days outing don't really want to start looking for alternative areas to park when we thought we had booked with private parking.

Very good base for discovering Amble few minutes walk to the harbour and the surrounding area. Comfortable apartment, enjoyed seeing the sea every day. We were lucky with the weather very warm for October and we saw lots and lots of butterlies out the lounge window. I also enjoyed the antics of the local ravens pecking at the moss on an adjacent roof.

Excellent description of property. High standard interior will all essential items available. Amble is a great staging point to use.

Well situated quite flat with lovely views all round just a stroll through town to the harbour. Large rooms, comfy lounge and glad to say a very nice comfy bed. Local bus service so easy to get about whether locally or further afield such as Newcastle.

2nd time visiting Amble for a holiday but 1st time visiting Wynding apartment and what a gem! Everything you need and more for your stay and the welcome tray of delicious goodies and flowers was a lovely touch. The apartment comes with free stunning views from the front room and kitchen window which we never got tired of looking for the whole weeks holiday. Definitely would revisit and recommend to anyone who is thinking of visiting Amble of which has everything you need in walking distance. Pubs, restaurants, shops & more. Wynding apartment in Amble is conveniently located for restaurants, shops and beach walks. The apartment itself is wonderful with everything you need when away from home. It's extremely clean and super comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend it. A welcome tray on arrival was most appreciated as we could make a cuppa whilst unpacking.
