The Loft is perfectly located in Queen Street in Amble. Its a great base for exploring the surrounding areas and has everything you need. The WiFi is good, all the kitchen facilities are excellent and it is warm, cozy and quiet at night.

A great little flat to stay in during or visit to family in Amble. Nicely located in the main street, and really handy for local shops punscafes restaurants. The flat itself is clean and has everything you need. The bed, never stayed in in accommodation with such an comfy bed, we slept well during out stay. Our only small criticism is the heating. I know we stayed at the end of December, but is was difficult to get warm in the living room, even with the electric heater on. Otherwise a perfect flat. WOuld we stop there again, yes, but in slightly warmer times.

Such a cosy and comfortable apartment. Everything you could need in a holiday let. Probably one of the best we've been to in terms of supplies for cleaning etc .. even dishwasher and washing machine pods! . And Mr and Mrs Claus salt and pepper. The festive decorations were fabulous. Location centre of Amble so close to all amenities. The bed..... so comfortable. The duvet...... amazingly warm. The Old Boathouse is one of many restaurants within minutes walk, fabulous sea food. Plenty of coffee housescafes nearby. Great bus service if you don't want to drive. Only one tiny tiny negative is that the on street parking is restricted to 1 hour between 9 and 5. But there is cheap qpaid parking nearby.

Everything was as described online. The property was comfortable, cosy and clean with everything I needed for a self catering break. Shops and restaurants were close at hand and the harbour was only a short walk away but there was no traffic noise despite the flats central location. I found the frequent bus service to Morpeth and Alnwick very useful.

Loved our time in The Loft. Perfect, cosy place for us to explore Amble and the surrounding Northumbrian countryside. The owners have thought of everything and the welcome gifts were a really nice touch. The location is right in the centre of everything Amble has to offer and the harbour, sea front and beaches are a very short stroll away get to Warkworth and check out their fabulous beach if you can. Parking is cheap and convenient, and local bus services are frequent and extensive letting us visit lots of places when we wanted to ditch the car. The many guide books provided gave great insight into what was available across Northumbria. Overall, this was a 55 stay.

We thought the Loft was an excellent property. Extremely well equipped and very comfortable. A great base for seeing Northumberland and perfect for the Farne Islands. Amble is quaint and has just what you need. We enjoyed our week there very much and hope to return.

Despite being on the main street in Amble, this was a really quiet location, with excellent facilities and some lovely touches, such as the milk and chocolate welcome pack. Great central location for visiting Northumberland, we look forward to a return visit.

The accommodation was great, including a super comfortable bed, good kitchen facilities and an interesting selection of books, many about the local area. The location was good with a reliable bus service along the beautiful coast. We left our car at home and didnt miss it at all throughout the week as plenty of interesting walks from the doorstep and shops, bars, restaurants etc close by. Thank you to the thoughtful owners whom provided choccies and milk on arrival and checked all was ok during our stay. Wed definitely like to return.

We enjoyed staying at The Loft, it was comfortable and had everything we needed. There was some milk and a box of chocolates left for us which we really appreciated and we found lots of walks and things to see around the area. It was our first visit to Northumberland but it wont be our last! Thanks to Peter and Jan for leaving the flat all ready for us, it was very welcoming.

Fabulous property, beautifully kept with home from home comforts including great bedding and lovely big bath towels which were much appreciated! We loved the central location and being less than 5 minutes walk from Ambles harbour and hostelries. Its not called the friendliest port for nothing vibrant place to be even on the blustiest of days. Loads to do fabulous beach walks, castles to visit Warkworth & Bamburgh, bird sanctuarys even as a non twitcher these are fascinating shops to potter in and plenty of cafes, pubs & restaurants all in easy reach. Its a ten out of ten from us!

A lovely property set right on the main street but you don't notice it. You aren't disturbed by it. The facilities within the flat are good but we would not recommend it to someone with a physical disability as the stairs to the flat are quite steep.

The Loft is a great holiday apartment for two people. Well proportioned and comfortable. Our preference is to leave the car and use public transport where possible, so the close by stop for the x18 and x20 services was ideal. Close by attractions and locations including Hauxley nature reserve, Warkworth and Alnmouth wonderful beach were our favourites

A beautiful apartment in the centre of Amble so very convenient for both the town and surrounding attractions. We found the apartment very comfortable and spacious and the kitchen has everything required. The owners kindly left a generous welcome pack and contacted us to make sure all was well. Free onstreet parking outside from 4pm to 10am. The public car park is a short walk away and not expensive.

I would give this property 4. 9 out of 5 if it was possible. The only reason it's not five stars is because of the parking. However, once I'd worked out the best use of the time limits and convenient car park, especially on the morning I was leaving, it worked well. Otherwise I was extremely comfortable.. And a big thank you to the owners for their concern and local weather information on my arrival day which coincided with red weather warnings.
