A wonderful stay, brilliant location. Accommodation very comfortable, warm and cosy, spacious and the enclosed garden perfect for our two pooches.
Andrew
The property was warm and comfortable and located in a delightful and quiet culdesac on the outskirts of Warkworth. The well equipped kitchen and dining area was ideal for breakfasts or any meals that we decided to prepare, though the property is within easy walking distance of several excellent pubs and eateries which we used. Only downsides were that one guest found that the mattress was too soft, and we couldn't find an oven glove. Great location for several local walks and within easy reach of super beach walks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the dogs appreciated the change of scenery. Ample parking for two vehicles and WiFi equipped.
The property was found to be clean, comfortable, spacious and very well equipped. We had a very enjoyable stay. The property is well situated just on the edge of Warkworth and about 45 minutes walk into Amble. Lots of walks for the dog and a nice beach not far away. Only one suggestion would be to have a table in the lounge to do jigsaw puzzles on, doing them on the carpet is backbreaking but this is just a personal thing not a criticism.
Judith
Lovely house which is warm and well equipped. Dog friendly with secure back patio garden. Love it here
We enjoyed our stay. There was a issue with the key lock and we had to call the owner to let us in. The only other issue was the heating the radiator made a dreadful noise, they obviously needed bleeding.
Christopher
The property was ideal for the 6 of us clean and well decorated it had all the facilities we required. Just a 20 minute walk to Warkworth we know a short cut It is an ideal family holiday home and who knows we may well be back !
The property was nice. Well maintained, clean and equipped with everything we needed. Location was on the edge of the village so a good 20 min walk to the amenities shop, pub, restaurant.

We had an enjoyable stay at Sommerfold. The property is in a quiet location within an easy walk of the centre of Warkworth, it is wellequipped and comfortable. The only disappointment was the outside space at the rear which we found small and claustrophobic.
Lovely property, in nice area, very comfortable and plenty of room. On arrival the dishwasher had leaked and was full of suds. The only down side was the beds are very low and the mattresses very soft so we all went home with aching backs. Also the blinds are lovely but the lack of curtainsblackouts in the bedrooms meant it was never dark, and the bedroom with the extension with plastic roof, meant when it rained it was like being in a caravan. Little niggles but overall we enjoyed our stay.
Judith
Enjoyed our stay again. Well equipped and good parking.Beds are comfortable and we all slept well.Only niggle was the comfort of the seating in the lounge.Spotlessly clean. We always enjoy staying here.Thank you.
Very nice spacious accommodation. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Very handy for walking into Warkworth. Great area for getting about in Northumberland. Would stay in this property again.
Carole
Lovely bungalow on the outskirts of Warkworth, generally all facilities work well in the home some aspects are showing a little wear but generally no issues. Parking availability on drive excellent . Would recommend.
Robert
Great place to stay would definitely go back,
Well located and comfortable cottage. The only slight niggles were the garden is very small and the double bedded room has an extension at the front with a clear plastic roof, making it light from early morning. Everything worked fine and we had a lovely week.
Judith
A comfortable, well maintained & equipped spacious house within walking distance of the village centre. Easy parking on the drive and a garage also available. Electric BBQ provided and the summer house is a bonus.
Barrie
Absolutely delighted with everything about the accommodation, thoroughly recommended.
Lesley
A very comfortable bungalow very quiet location but near to some wonderful walks and places to eat. Superbly equipped, lovely and clean, brilliant!
Lovely family accommodation with easy distance of town centre and beach. Fully equipped for all our needs. Nice to meet Alan on our arrival.
Summer fold is a lovely property. Situated in a quiet cul de sac off the main road. Equipped with everything we needed. A safe enclosed patio garden for the dogs.
Overall a nice bungalow. Short walk to local pubs and restaurants, short bus rides to train station

Lovely refresh of this property had a fab time the sun came out and we had icecream from morwick dairy
Summerfold was a very comfortable cottage to holiday in. It is in an ideal position to see Warkwork and the surrounding area.
Christine
Garden underwhelming no lawn a drawback. Distinct shortage of teaspoons. Procedure for opening garage roller door could have been made clearer. Otherwise no problems.
William
Very spacious in a very quiet location. Very well located to explore the majestic Northumberland sights, with the glitzy city of Newcastle just a 30 minute drive away.
We enjoyed staying at Summerfold. It is a comfortable, modern, reasonably spacious house on a small development within walking distance of the village. The area is attractive and interesting with plenty to do nearby. Warkworth is a very attractive village with a fine castle and beach.
This is a lovely holiday house, very clean and comfortable. We have stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. Heather Grove is very quiet and Warkworth is beautiful. Super beaches are a few minutes drive away and there is a fantastic ice cream shop just up the road.

A gorgeous cottage for our family of 5 and our dog, Hermione. It was our home from home for the week but we could have easily stayed forever. The cottage is in an ideal quiet, safe location for country and coastal walks, visiting other villages and many other attractions are within easy reach. There were three generations ranging from 73 to 11 and Hermione, 2 and 11 months. The kitchen had everything you need and had a lot of space for us all to easily move around in. The kitchen was well equipped, including a huge fridge and freezer. The bedrooms were all a brilliant size and beds were exceptionally comfy. The lounge, also an excellent size, had very comfy sofas and a great place to unwind after exploring in the day. The bathroom and ensuite had everything you wanted. The shower in the main bathroom was extremely powerful, so don't over do the shampoo! The outside space was all enclosed and was excellent for my dog. The shrubs were a little overgrown but didn't make a lot of difference to us as we didn't sit out. If you did want to sit out there was a lovely table and chairs and a beautiful summerhouse to use. The parking was great for our 2 cars at the front of the house. The neighbours were all very friendly, especially to my dog! We had the best week, in an excellent location and will definitely be going back. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.
Although the inside of the house looked the same as the photos in the listing, the garden was falsely advised. The garden on the website showed a summerhouse at the end of the garden with space for the dogs in the rest of it. The summerhouse had been moved and not recently and is now in the middle of the garden, leaving no space for the dogs to walk or roam. There are also large overgrown bushes, including rose bushes again not planted recently which were not safe for dogs. Very disappointing. Very good location for the area. Would definitely stay in Warkworth again, but not in the same house. .
The property was comfortable and clean, although for our family the location wasnt quite right. The garden area is overgrown and feels small when compared to the website photographs, due to the orientation of a large shedsummerhouse and lots of overhanging planting. We had a slight issue with a padlocked tumble drier, however this was quickly resolved by Sykes snd the owner. All in all a nice house in a beautiful area.
Christopher
Nice cottage in quiet culdesac. Well positioned to explore Northumberland.

We had everything we needed for our stay. It was like home from home. A well equipped kitchen, homely lounge, super comfy beds. It's in a great location, handy for days out along the coast and then unwind in a peaceful area. The back garden is a lovely area to unwind. Great that it gets the sun both morning and early evening. We didn't use the summer house as it was very warm when we stayed but it's a nice addition to the garden. The welcome pack was very detailed, but I would suggest leaving details of the bin collection days in the kitchen. We missed it and looking at how full the bins were so had previous occupants. Overall this was a lovely property and if we were visiting this area again we'd definitely book to stay here
Our eventual stay in Summerfold was absolutely fine and the property was good in every way. So no negative feedback whatsoever to the owners. The booking process however was a fiasco which was both stressful and avoidable. Communication is everything and Sykes have let themselves down badly on two occasions this year. They have not responded positively in fact not responded at all to the feedback given and so we will sadly not be booking with them ever again.
Overall very pleased with the cottage and quiet location and just a short walk from the centre of the village. The only criticism is that we would have liked to use both the tumble dryer and summer house but both were padlocked. Apart from that the cottage was clean and well appointed.
Good location, quiet & undisturbed little culdesac & a lovely bungalow too, spacious & spotlessly clean. Heating was appreciated in rather cold weather we had too. We had a problem with front door lock which became faulty, but owners quickly dealt with this, in friendly & helpful manner & had tradesman come & replace it. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely spacious immaculate bungalow ,ideal for anyone with mobility issues very quiet but within easy driving of all attractions. Would take your own hairdryer. Hope to return soon.
Lovely spacious bungalow, clean and comfortable, well equipped with everything needed for our week long stay. In a very quiet small cul de sac, short walk to the beach and within easy distance to wonderful scenery, beaches and castles. Owners were very helpful during our stay

Lovely cottage on the outskirts of Warkworth, excellent walking from the door, ... Lovely cottage on the outskirts of Warkworth, excellent walking from the door, will need a car to get around if your not capable of walking
Summerfold is a lovely bungalow in a great location, just a short walk from the centre of Warkworth, which is ideally situated to explore the Northumberland coastline and villages. We stayed over Xmas and the property was very cosy, spotlessly clean and had all the facilities we needed to thoroughly enjoy our stay, We would definitely recommend Summerfold and will hopefully return in the future.
