Coquet cottage was clean, well equipped and spacious. The biscuits and welcoming card were a nice gesture. A large comfortable bed and blackout curtains ensured we got a good nights sleep. We had a great holiday and would definitely book Coquet cottage again.

Myself and my friend have just returned from a brilliant stay in Coquet cottage in Amble. First impressions were good. A nice street of terraced cottages and very quiet too. Very close to the centre of town, literally a 2 minute walk to the shops and a further few minutes down to the quayside. Perfect! The cottage itself was lovely. Very clean and with absolutely everything you could possibly need on hand. The kitchen is fully equipped, we lacked nothing! Home from home was my first impression. Lots of information, from leaflets regarding local attractions to tide times for crossing to Holy Island. Beds were lovely and very comfortable. The bedding and towels smelled gorgeous and were spotless. Just everything you need when away from home. We loved it. If WiFi is important to you, dont worry, it was fast! The parking is on street. I have a large estate car and managed to park it easily. There was always a space. Its a very quiet road, no noise at all. Amble itself is a great place to visit in its own right. With the quayside, marina, shops and restaurants, its all there. Further afield, take your pick! Too many gorgeous places to list but Amble is a great place to start. Trying to keep our money local, we tried the Taste of China takeaway and the Taj Mahal for Indian food, both top notch and shopped in the high street which has everything you could need, including lovely cafs. Do try the eateries on the quayside for lush fish meals too. Thank you so much to Phil and Gerry for a brilliant base for our week away.

This is our second time staying at Coquet cottage and we were not disappointed. The property was clean, tidy and welcoming. The owners had left us some biscuits, tea and coffee. All much appreciated after our long journey. The beds were comfy after long days of sightseeing. We didnt use any appliances in the kitchen as we always eat out but everything was available. We would not hesitate to come back. My daughter said it felt like home!!

I enjoyed my stay, the cottage was lovely and very cosy. The cottage was easy to find and I didn't have a problem getting into it. I have been to amble a few times and I still enjoy going there, I will be going back in the near future.

We enjoyed our week at Croquet Cottage. It's within walking distance of shops, cafes, and the harbour. Parking outside the property isn't always easy. Back yard is quiet and secluded.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage is very cosy & was decorated with a lovely Xmas tree. The owners had thought of everything as it is very well equipped & we had everything we needed. The house is very comfortable, warms up quickly and is just a short walk from shops and the harbour. Its a pleasant quiet neighbourhood, with a bus stop 5 minutes away and a good bus service. The little patio at the back is very pretty and private, and we could sit in the sun late afternoon. We would definitely go back. thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Coquet Cottage. Thank you so much. The beds were really comfy, the kitchen was practical with good appliances and crockerypans. Tea, coffee and biscuits a lovely touch too. We appreciated the separate dining room and the overall space was roomy and definitely bigger than in the pictures! The only suggestion we could make is maybe some extra plug sockets on the landing or way of adding a nightlight for younger guests. The cottage is really close to the town centre, which made going to local shops including Morrisons, the harbour, the beach and takeaways very easy and walkable. Parking was easy outside the cottage. We felt very at home and would recommend to others.

Very spacious and conveniently situated for the town of Amble and the coast path to Warkworth and beyond. Comfortable and wellequipped, the cottage can be recommended without hesitation.

Lovely cottage in a great position to explore Amble and Warkworth on foot. Everything you need for a self catering holiday, even things such as dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and toilet rolls were provided. Very clean and tidy with a welcome basket with biscuits, tea and coffee and lots of information on the pin boards or in the folders about the house and the local area. Would definitely come back to this cottage again.

This terraced cottage is surprisingly spacious and in a quiet area of Amble. Parking at the front of the property was never a problem. The cottage is comfortably furnished, we paticularly appreciated the wingback chairs which are perfect for those of us with back problems. The location is ideal, close to the shops and the seafront.

This is a lovely, spacious house with a really wellequipped kitchen showing understanding that holidaying families cant afford to eat out every day and evening. Really clean, and Amble is such a friendly place!

Well appointed property, exactly as described and in an ideal location for town. The owners have provided everything you can possibly need and each room was decorated well with plenty of available plug sockets and information around the house. Parking was easy on the street and the owners had left local attraction information and menus also which was handy. Area was very quiet so ideal for families and couples. Highly recommend. The only reason it didnt get a 5 review was the bedrooms could do with some blinds or blackout curtains in them as the streetlight shines directly into it. The property was very clean, comfortable and in a lovely quiet area about 10 minutes walk from the harbour. There was everything you could need in the cottage and there were lots of original features making the property very homely.

A great base to explore the Northumberland coastal area. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped in a quiet location.

We had a lovely stay at coquet cottage despite the poor weather. The house was clean, nicely decorated and well maintained with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Amble is a lovely seaside town fishing port. There are plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants catering for every taste, although I found the fish restaurants expensive. Plenty of walking routes and a good Base To visit attractions in the area, there is a good bus service nearby if you want to leave the car. All in all a very good stay and would recommend.

Comfortable cottage in friendly town, I visit Northumberland every few months for a week of walking and this is the second time I have stayed in Amble. Its a friendly town with all amenities and some great walks and fabulous beaches close by. Coquet Cottage is a cosy well equipped base in a very quiet street a couple of minutes walk from the main high street.

Lovely cosy warm cottage. Perfect base for exploring the Northumberland coast, lots of places to visit within a 20mile radius. Cottage was well equipt with everything we needed and very clean. Nice local pubs with food and good chinese takeaway nearby.

A very nice clean property with all necessary equipment in place for day to day living apart from the bed in the front bedroom being a bit on the large size for the room's dimensions . Would still give it a 9.9 out of 10 .

Brilliant home, immaculately clean and very peaceful. ..we wanted for nothing. Recommebd to anyone for peace but is central for the NE coast attractions. Amble is cery friendky but a great selection of restaurants. Fish, very fresh, is a must at the port restaurants.

Lovely cottage on a residential street a stones throw from high street with food shops and eateries. Cottage interior bigger than it looks from outside, would sleep 5 comfortably but only 1 bathroom for a large family. Master bedroom great if you are flexible to squeeze past the bed frame
