Generally good. Well equipped and cosy and in a great spot. However only 2 bath towels provided despite paying for 2 bedrooms. Kitchen light not working over table. Bathroom light not working over sink. Despite being a Smart TV, it does not connect to the internet a Samsung wireless LAN adaptor is needed. I have advised the owner.

This is a comfortable cottage in a good location. Just behind the Main Street and a very short walk to the harbour and sheltered beach. Having off road parking is a definite plus point.

Fantastic little cottage by the marina. Steps away from shops, bars and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable. Great enclosed garden for the dog and the off street parking was a godsend. Lots of walks nearby. Happily would book again. Dont want to leave to glowing a review or I might not be able to book again lol.

This is a lovely bungalow in a perfect location just off the Main Street in Amble. It has a nice conservatory with open aspects towards the marina and a lovely flat garden. The house was spotless and really well equipped with a nice welcome pack. It is ideal in every way and a credit to the owners. We will be back if we can find a free week in the future

Clean, warm and comfortable. We had an issue with the boiler which was rectified very quickly. We'll definitely be back!

The location of Arcadie was fantastic, right in the heart of Amble with easy access to some great walks and days out in Northumberland.

We stayed 4 days, the weather was not kind to us so we probably spent more time in the house because of this. It's very comfortable, well equipped and very clean. Plenty places to eat, and a couple of small supermarkets, within easy walking distance. Enclosed garden was ideal for the dog. We would definitely come back.

Arcadie is ideally placed in a quiet street, offering lovely views across the Braid and Marina. It's got a conservatory with furniture perfect for eating and relaxing, whilst enjoying the bird activities. The parking is also a blessing. The whole place is spotless and a credit to the lady taking care of it. This has been our 2nd visit and we have booked again for next year

Arcadie is a comfortable, clean home from home bungalow in a fantastic location in beautiful Amble, with a super garden for the dog. We would return in a heartbeat, in fact we didn't want to leave,

Spacious , comfortable and well equipped with large garden and open view towards boatyard, perfect for us and the dog. Eating breakfast in the conservatory watching the birds in the garden was delightful, as was relaxing there with a book after a day walking the beautiful Northumberland coastline! Appreciated the lovely treats in the welcome and the nice touches of the colourful flowers in garden and lovely pictures on the wall. A great place to stay

Lovely house in perfect location for restaurants, shops and walks with the dog. Fully enclosed garden with views over marina. Clean, warm and comfortable. Parking greatly improved by opening up access to drive. Would have preferred dishwasher instead of washing machine but not a big problem as ate out. Will definitely stay again.

This was a lovely cottage right by the harbour. It had everything we needed and more to make the stay enjoyable. The milk, bread and treats left for our arrival was appreciated. We loved all the old photos of Amble, the cottage felt really connected to the town. Thank you for a great break, we will return.

Our 3rd stay at Arcadie and we had a lovely week. A huge difference was the open driveway. Just drive up and park. Other changes made the bungalow more inviting. The new furniture and heater in the conservatory and a slightly stripped back version on the decor in general. Amble is a great place to stay,nice shops and harbour huts,cafes and restaurants etc. Amazing beaches on the doorstep and further along the coast in both directions. Arcadie is so worth considering as your holiday home. Comfortable,cosy and a little gem of a place. Thanks to Emma for all you do to make the bungalow so nice to visit.

A beautiful cottage with everything you could need, the two double bedrooms were ideal for us as two singles with a dog. The location is perfect with everything Amble has to offer right on the doorstep but still relaxed and quiet. We very quickly became regulars at the excellent cock n bull micropub, where the banter with the locals is hilarious and found a fab cocktail bar just a short stroll from the property. The owner dealt with the one issue we had during our stay immediately after making contact with them....thankyou

Arcadie is a lovely, comfortable cottage, with a nice conservatory, where you can enjoy watching the birds or activity on the Braid and marina. We also ate meals out there using a small table. The whole place was spotless. We appreciated the books, suggesting walks and the many others about the local area. Everything is on the doorstep for shopping, eating out and tripping out. We have booked to come back next year.

Our 2nd visit to Arcadie and we enjoyed it. We stayed more local this time and spent more time exploring the sand dunes and beaches around the Amble area. We also shopped for provisions more at Amble,as Arcadie is close to the high street. Saying that,you wouldn't think it was.No noise, mainly local people going by on their way to the shops. Perfect for us and our small dog.Nice location and secure garden for the dog.We'd love to visit Arcadie again. A big thank you to Emma housekeeper as well.

This is a charming property. It is ideally positioned for access to all Amble has to offer. The property is very comfortable and extremely well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and as we visit the area regularly, we will certainly return. Thanks particularly to Emma for her very considerate call.

The outside of the property was a little scruffy, possibly due to recent bad weather. The inside was warm and welcoming, milk in the fridge and goodies in the bread bin were much appreciated. The cottage is in a very quiet location, and very convenient for shops and the harbour. The cottage was recommended to us by friends, and we will happily pass on the details to others.

We really enjoyed our stay at Arcadie in Amble. Close to the main street,but not noisy with traffic or people. Ideal for the harbour village and further along to the dunes and beaches. The walk to Warkworth Castle is beautiful,with all the sea birds along the river estuary. The garden at Arcadie was great for our dog,we checked the fences and it was completely secure,for him to explore. Comfortable,clean and surprisingly private both front and back,looking at the location of the property. We liked it so much we rebooked for next spring.

Comfortable,well equipped property and loved the decor and furnishings. However the lack of care by whoever is looking after this property needs addressing i.e.faulty cooker knob, vanity light in bedroom not working,, no extra loo rolls, bin bags or kitchen towel. It's a lovely property otherwise

A real home from home, in a nice setting with many places that allows dogs in. The weather was nice so did some local walking ending up at Angies or The cock and bull. Would highly recommended this cottage

In an excellent location. Central but quiet. Kitchen well equipped. Good shower over the bath. Beds comfy, settees not so much. Bungalow looks in need of some t.l.c. Please note not everyone appreciates air fresheners in virtually every room. We had torrential rain one day and the windowsills in the conservatory were covered in water and the gutters overflowed. No welcoming pack, not even a bottle of milk in the fridge. No toilet cleaner in the bathrooms. No hand wash anywhere. Parking on the driveway caused difficulties with cars parking on the street outside. We decided not to park on the driveway because there was parking available elsewhere. Would we stay there again? Maybe, because of the location.

Wonderful home from home bungalow with everything you need for a lovely holiday. Perfect location in the village and central for lovely walks and beaches. Great for the dog with enclosed garden. Cant wait to return!
