This property exceeded our expectations. Perfect location, lots of floor space, up to date decoration and exceptionally clean. The house was warm, facilities such as the bathroom shower were fantastic and equipment in the kitchen was good. We would definitely return.

We were left a welcome pack which was very gratefully received, would not hesitate to stay at this property again it was wonderful
Really felt at home in this well presented holiday home. Absolutely spotless and everything that we could need. A lovely welcome pack that we enjoyed, thank you very much. Hope to be back in the future, has there is still plenty to explore.

We had a lovely time during our stay. The house was very clean and cosy. There was a lovely welcome pack on arrival. The house was very comfortable and warm, with everything we needed. Good parking and a great location.
Extremely clean and comfortable property which has been tastefully modernised. Not far to walk into Amble to smaple the pubs, restaurants and walks.
The property was extremely clean, spacious and very comfortable. Although it was dog friendly there was no smell of dog we usually try for dog free homes. Situation was good with an easy walk to the sea and harbour. We were always able to park the car outside the property.
Beautiful and very tasteful decor and soft furnishings. So much storage space and lovely big bedrooms. Lovely bathroom and everything you need in the kitchen. A lovely place to come back to after a long day exploring. Nothing to complain about! All perfect.
Andrea
Plenty of room in cottage which was lovely and clean inside parking outside house wasnt a problem even though a busy road Internet was good we were able to stream bbci and netflix with no issues Plenty of cleaning materials brush vacumn etc and wood floors through most downstairs helped although the lounge carpet very light and we were worried our elderly mother would spill her drink but thankfully she didnt Very comfotable sofas and beds but possibly a king size bed might be better although everything was comfotable lovely clean bedding . We especially liked the outside area that was partially covered which meant not worried if washing out and it rained and also we could bring dogs in back way after they been in water at Durridge bay as backgate had a key lock. Quite well placed to walk into Amble or just few min drive to shops. Also near to lots Northumbria has to offer We would def consider coming here again
Light and spacious, well situated for Amble and surrounding areas. Didnt have any problems with parking. We didnt find the bed or pillows very comfortable but other than that the house was very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay.
Catherine
This is a lovely house with everything you need for a perfect stay. We always managed to park outside the house no matter what time we arrived back, plus you can stroll into the town centreharbour in about 10 mins I really could find no faults and would definitely recommend staying here to discover Amble which is a lovely town with plenty of fabulous places to eat and drink. Plus Amble is in a great spot to use as a base to visit all the other lovely areas of coastal Northumberland
Suzanne
We had a lovely relaxing week up on the beautiful Northumberland Coast. The cottage is comfortable and well maintained in a quiet part of Amble. Everything in the town is within walking distance and very dog friendly. Many other attractions are not too far, so the Cottage is a good base for exploring further afield. Overall very positive. The only thing we think would be an improvement would be to add a dishwasher.
Claire
Loved the house, very comfortable. Appreciated the nice towels that were a good size, also nice to have a tassimo machine. Although the house allows dogs we had one with us it wasnt at all doggy in terms of cleanliness or smell. Really enjoyed our stay.
Lovely clean and tidy house in quiet location. Road could be busy at times through the day but not a problem. We had no problem parking outside the property. The house fulfilled all our needs for a very pleasant holiday in Amble.
Spacious, cosy, well equipped property in a good location to explore the local area. Although on a road we had no issues with on road parking or noise.
Nice property, it was in a perfect location and had everything we needed, we would book here again if we came back to Amble. We just found parking a bit of a pain in front of the property, getting completely blocked in by cars on one occasion and being given very, very little room to get out multiple times.
Rachel
Really enjoyed our Christmas week in Amble, everything we needed for a home from home holiday with our dog, who extremely enjoyed all the beaches. Tanya contacted us to see if everything was ok and advised she was available any time if we needed anything which I thought was a nice personal touch, though everything was just great. Would highly recommend staying here, a great base for exploring the area. Coming back to a comfortable home after a day out exploring just perfect & parking on the street was never a problem. Thank you Tanya for letting us stay at your holiday home would definitely use again.
We enjoyed a comfortable few days at the property, well situated for exploring Amble and surrounding area. The property was spotlessly clean and comfortable throughout with the kitchen well equipped with the basics required. No garden but a good sized covered yard area for drying any washing etc. There is an accessible green space not far from the house for early morning dog walking and our dog loved the beach on the harbour front! A nice message from the owner on the day of arrival and we appreciated the welcome pack !!
Shirley
Lovely well presented cottage within easy access to town and beach.
Spotless and well maintained. Tea & coffee jars full, and a wonderful surprise of a goodie basket on arrival! Beds comfortable and tastefully furnished. Host messaged on day of arrival, just to make sure everything was OK. A lovely house.
We were so happy during our 1 week stay at 18 Acklington Road. The house is in a great location, a short walk from the harbour and close to shops. It's an ideal location to explore Northumbria. The house itself is a tardis! Much bigger than we were expecting. A lovely welcome pack and the owner checked in to see if we were OK. Nice to have some basic cleaning bits in the house too. We really hope to return.
Patricia

Lovely break in Amble staying at 18 Acklington Road. House was so convenient for the harbour, for local shops, local buses if required and parking always available. Property was fresh, bright and very clean. Owner has thought of everything you may need and provided a welcome pack even including some doggy treats. We would definitely stay here again.

Melanie
Gorgeous place, really clean and cosy. Perfect location for Amble and surrounding areas. The only drawback was the Council ripping up the road and resurfacing which started on the Monday morning right through to the Thursday. I would have thought that the owners would have had notice of the road being closed. We were woken up by the noise at 8am and had to quickly move our cars. Subsequently had to move our cars each morningevening. Couldn't stay in the house MonTuesWed even if we wanted to as the noise was unbearable. If I'd been advised I wouldn't have booked this house as lovely as it was it would have been nice to be informed.

This is such a lovely property. Very stylish, welcoming and spotless. Modern interior and tastefully decorated. The outdoor space was perfect for our dog well lit and secure. I think the bath shower area would benefit from a rubber shower mat as it can be slippery in the bath especially after using shower gel, shampoo etc. and would be helpful for mature visitors and children alike. Also, some drinks coasters appeared to be missing? These were minor details in this beautiful house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and its a big thank you from us!
Kenneth
Spent a week in this beautifully presented and spotlessly clean home. Perfectly located for walks to the town centre and amenities. Also lovely walks to Warkworth, Hauxley and Druridge Bay. We would thoroughly recommend and would love to return. Mr & Mrs Dale
This property was exactly what we were looking for, we could walk out day and night and find everything we wanted, including shops and restaurants. Theres a park close by for dog walking. All in all an excellent staycation property. The owner Tanya even made time to ring us to make sure everything was okay on our arrival even though she had just given birth. Thank you.
House was lovely, fitted out to a high standard and a great shower. Would highly reccommend this as a place to stay. Welcome basket was a nice touch and appreciated.
Andrew
Beautifully and tastefully renovated and decorated throughout. Very useful and thoughtful welcome pack, clear directions, well located and very good value.
Joanna
A beautiful holiday home. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, close to shops. Plenty of on street parking. Wonderful welcome hamper including dog biscuits and call from owner on first night to check all ok and let us know if we needed anything to get in touch . Cant fault it and would definitely recommend and return.
