Wisteria Cottage Reviews

Great communication from owner. A very warm and comfortable home. Quiet and peaceful A generous welcome pack A really good base to explore the county
Lovely little cottage ideally situated with access to all local amenities and the wider area. The only downside was no washing machine and no drying facilities not even a simple clothes horse. In an area renowned for spectacular walks particularly when wet, it does make a difference to be able to wash walking clothes. Otherwise the cottage was well appointed, very clean and wonderfully quiet.
Even before we arrived, we were made to feel welcome by our host. She messaged the day before, to make sure that wed received the key code, and on the day, we received a very welcome message to say that we could access the property a little earlier. Our journey had been very smooth, so we were due to arrive at exactly the time that she said we could check in! The accommodation was exactly as described and expected. Our host made sure that we were happy & had found everything we wanted. Wisteria cottage is hidden away, with no passing traffic or people, but not far to walk for car parking and the villages facilities. The kitchen facilities were great, and there were full instructions for all of the appliance. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch, along with the starter pack of firewood. Wed definitely recommend it as a peaceful escape. Thank you.
Beautifully presented cottage. Cosy and welcoming. Great location. A lovely welcome pack on arrival. Will be returning
William

Comfortable, cosy well equipped cottage in great location close to the river in Warkworth and local pubs with good food.
The cottage is in a really good location in Warkworth, with plenty of free parking nearby. Very close to the river and within walking distance to Warkworth Castle, as well as the local pubs and shops. It was very comfortable and we would definitely stay there again.
A lovely little cottage in a quiet area. Kitchen was well equipped with pots and utensils. Everything was clean and tidy. There was plenty of parking in the free nearby car parking area.
An immaculately clean cottage and in such a lovely position, right by the river and an easy, quick walk through to the shops and pubs. We did lots of walks from the cottage, along the river to the Hermitage and the other way to the beach. Lovely walk up the hill to the castle, and delicious cake and coffee at the cricket club. Warkworth is such a quintessential English village with everything within easy reach. Also perfect for exploring that part of the Northumbrian coast
A beautiful cottage in an Ideal location for exploring the Northumberland coast on foot or by car. The cottage has everything you need for a self catering holiday. Lovely position, close to the River Coquet where you can sit and watch the wildlife.

Wisteria Cottage is a beautifully renovated property in a scenic location by the river in Warkworth. We had a lovely few days in this cosy cottage with a very generous welcome basket and a good supply of logs for the burner. We would highly recommend this property.
We had a lovely few days at Wisteria Cottage. Well equipped, beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable.
Simply wonderful! We were cosy and extremely comfortable in this little cottage tucked away in beautiful Warkworth and for November the weather was perfect. Thank you for the welcome pack and to the attentive owner Hilary! We hope to return again.
A perfect spot for our family holiday, thanks so much! The cottage is super comfortable seemingly newly renovated and had everything we needed. Loved the wood burner. The host was really thoughtful. The location was, of course, superb, and absolutely no problem parking. Highly recommend.
Another wonderful time at Wisteria Cottage. The beds are really comfortable , we loved using the log burner and the location is perfect for us. We will certainly return
Wisteria Cottage was just great. Welcoming, comfortable and spotlessly clean, and a great Welcome Pack. Excellent situation only a mile or so to the beach, and lots of other great beach walks only short drives away, and Alnwick and Morpeth too. Well fitted kitchen if you tire of the amazing steak pies, etc., in The Masons Arms two minutes away. We had a fantastic week.
Nicely furnished and decorated by an owner who clearly cares about those stays there. Good communication from the owner throughout none from Sykes. Owner lives locally which is a big plus Excellent welcome pack. Excellent location Cottage is quite small. Better for 2 people than 4

Beautifully appointed and every comfort well thought out. Absolutely gorgeous. A lovely base to explore Warkworth and the nearby areas of Alnwick, Alnmouth and Amble. So many amazing walks and castles we ran out of time. Highly recommended for a comfortable, carefree stay.

The cottage is perfect for a couple clean, cosy and comfortable. It is hidden away in a quiet little street away from the busy main road in Warkworth. A very generous welcome pack awaits. The cottage is spotlessly clean and everything is provided to make sure you have a relaxing holiday. We loved it. Two tips for visitors the cutlery drawer is hidden in the cupboard where cling film etc is to be found, and leaving time is actually 10 am not 9.30am as Sykes Cottages may tell you! The owner of the property is very helpful and kind. We really recommend this home from home for those who love walking and exploring the beautiful Northumbrian coast. Car parking wasnt a problem as there were always spaces along by the river at the end of the terrace. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Couldn't have asked for anything more. Lovely comfy, clean cottage, furnisheddecorated with both taste and style. The owner was on hand via text to answer all our questions...and provided us with a welcome pack, which was.......very welcome! We'll definitely return.
