The Barn at Fiend's Fell Cottages is a converted stone barn in Gamblesby, Cumbria. It sits on the edge of the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and overlooks the original village church. This dog-friendly cottage sleeps four guests and welcomes up to three dogs.
The area is perfect for walkers and cyclists. You can explore the North Pennines or cycle Hartside Pass from nearby Melmerby. The village pub is about a mile away. Birdsong and the occasional tractor provide the daily soundtrack.
Ground floor accommodation includes a king-size bedroom and a twin bedroom plus a spacious shower room with walk-in shower. Upstairs you'll find an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area with vaulted ceilings.

Long Meg and Her Daughters stone circle is reachable via a walking loop along the River Eden. Rheged Centre (12 miles, 20 minutes) offers exhibitions and movies. Lacy's Caves are 8 miles away (15 minutes). Little Salkeld village is on the walking route.
