Our 2nd time here and wouldnt hesitate to go again! A warm,clean,cosy cottage absolutely everything provided lovely comfy beds and the kitchen equipment was first class.Perfect area for dogs and so peaceful and quiet too. A wander to the Cock and Bull and Brewers is a must although the range of pubs and eateries is fantastic and dont forget Sunday market bargains.Wonderful friendly people in Amble.

Very comfortable, cosy and warm house which is more than adequately equipped. Ideal base for exploring Northumberland. Numerous, uneccesary, negative comments noted in the visitors' book. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

FOR OCTOBER THE HEATING NEEDS TO BE ON EARLIER AND LONGER. . THE MATS IN KITCHEN AND LOUNGE ARE DANGEROUS.. YARD NEEDS TO BE MORE APPEALING TO USE.

Our 6th yr back in Amble and definitely the best situated house weve had. ...but not cosiest or cleanest or best layout. Basically well equipped, lovely beddingtowels fitted sheets would be good idea, but a bit meagre re starter loo rolls, hand wash, washing up liquid, cleaning equipment and... no hand towels in kitchen and downstairs bathroom. Also, optional I know...but even a pint of proper milk would do as a starter? The toilet pans were stained a pet hate but bought bottle of harpic and scrubbed clean. The main shower has a lot of black mould around it too which should be addressed. All in all love Amble and will be back...but sadly not to South View.

Very comfortable and clean accommodation. I recommend a stay at Southview because of its location to beach, town and massive field. Dark sky viewing is good, weather permitting. A great holiday stay of three weeks.

Lovely property, situated ideally within walking distance of the harbour and it's gorgeous walks. The property was well maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness and fitted with all the equipment you would need. The parking facilities are great with no issues parking right outside your door. Very comfortable place to use as a base to explore Northumberland would highly recommend this property it was all and more anyone could wish for

One of the nicest holiday properties I have stayed in. Excellent location, close to the beach, harbour and shops. Well equipped and very clean, had everything we needed. We have already booked again for next year.

The property looks just like any terrace house until you open the front door. It is spacious, comfortable and has everything you could wish for in a holiday let. It well situated with a short walk to the dunes and the harbour. The vibrant Sunday market is a bonus. All in all, probably the best holiday let accommodation we have stayed in

The owners are brilliant and can't do enough to make your stay perfect. The house is one of the best we have ever stayed in in terms of comfort and having a well designed and equipped kitchen. The joy of two bathrooms! The quiet location makes for deep sleep. We love staying here. Thank you.

Lovely holiday cottage, clean and warm with every facility you would need. Excellent location, with walks from the doorstep and shops, pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. Highly recommended.

Lovely little cottage in an ideal position for us dog owners. Well equipped if you want to eat in, but ideally placed for the eclectic mix of eating places in the area. Since we started coming to amble, it has really transformed with this cottage being an example of a well kept holiday home. Congratulations to the owner for that.

Very nice property in a very good location. The cottage is well equipped with everything that you need for a self catering holiday. It has been thoughtful decorated and furnished. The parking was not a problem unlike some properties in the town. The beds were very comfortable. The cottage was warm and comfortable. We would book again.

We loved our stay. Close to the beach and shops and handy having the field at the front for early morning dog walks. Theres parking on the private road outside the property. The house was immaculate. Baby friendly with highchairs, bath mats and activities for older children. Everything you could need in the kitchen. Plenty of books, games and information about the surrounding area. The location is perfect for visiting neighbouring towns and villages

A beautiful home. Deceptively large, lots of space. Very well equipped, have thought and covered everything. From board games, wine stoppers to sewing kits and parking permits. In a fantastic position Very near to the beach and harbour of Amble. A small yard at the rear but a large open grassy area at the front provided an immediate area for the hounds. An excellent find. Absolutely stunning property in a lovely quiet location. The owners have thought of everything right down to a basket of balls and a ball thrower for the dogs! Very well equipped and great to come back to after a day sightseeing or one of the many beautiful walks in fabulous surroundings. Would definitely go back.

This is one of the most comfortable,well equipped houses we have have stayed in. We have stayed in Amble many times and really enjoyed the peaceful setting and lovely view from the house. We had the most relaxing week in this spaceous,warm house and loved it so much we have booked it again for a week next year. It also makes a difference when the owners are so kind and helpful. It is clear well come back

We had a lovely holiday at Southview. We enjoyed it so much that we have already booked to go back there next year. Brilliant location and we already love coming to Amble. For me, I would have liked a firmer memory foam mattress on the double bed but that's just me and my dodgy back. The cottage is welcoming and well equipped. Thoroughly recommend.

First impression Of the unmade rd full of potholes we wondered what we had let ourselves in for . Bu when you get in the cottage it soon changed our minds the cottage and facilities were 1st class.we enjoyed our time there and would certainly rebook for another stay .

An excellent home in every way. Didn't want to go home!

I have stayed in many holiday homes in Amble and this was my second stay in South View. The place is absolutely excellent in every regard. The location is perfect for the beaches and a great area for walking your dog as there is a large green right outside the front door, which leads to the beaches. The added bonus of resident Only Parking is another huge plus, especially for loading and unloading. The property itself is wonderfully set out and equipped. There is everything you could possibly need, a good TV and excellent wifi, comfortable seating, a dining table, a bookcase filled with lots of information about nearby places of interest as well as books and games, a lovely welcome pack with a bottle of wine, milk in the fridge, tea coffee, sugar, condiments etc in an excellent kitchen, a downstairs shower room toilet, a utility area with washing machine, tumble dryer, mops, buckets, brushes, ironing board and iron, plenty of toilet rolls and cleaning products, a vacuum cleaner in the cupboard under the stairs, a fabulous upstairs bathroom with large bath and large shower, night lights on the landing, THE most comfortable bed in the front bedroom and two large single beds in the second bedroom. Everything was very well maintained and cleaned, I can definitely recommend this property any I hope to return again sometime next year. 11 out of 10.

South view was absolutely perfect for us and our dog . .Fabulous location and easy walks to the beaches and Amble high street. Comfortable, warm, homely cottage which we were very happy to return to each day after our adventures to local eateries or visits to Warkworth and Alnmouth. Great snuggly beds, well equipped kitchen and a supersized bath. Wow ..cant wait to return

We love staying in South View, and have returned several times. It has everything we need, and the location is perfect. The owners provide a few personal touches which we appreciate , and were immediately available when we had a problem with the smoke alarm.

A great stay. The house is very well equipped. It was good to have the harbour and its restaurants a short walk away. The dunes are also very close, so great for walking the dog.

One of the best holiday cottages we've stayed in. Comfortable, great to have 2 bathrooms, a wellequipped kitchen and we didn't need a PhD to operate the cooker and microwave. Lovely position within Amble, with easy access to lots of interesting places. We had an excellent week and would be delighted to stay again.

We appreciated all the little extras that were included in facilities and implements cafetiere, for instance, and a pack of coffee if needed. Location is superb, so close to the harbour, town centre and sea. Allinall, wonderful. We intend to return. Our only complaint was that my wife is allergic to the duvet on the double bed!!

Wonderful property immaculately presented and spotlessly clean . Had a really great holiday would definitely visit again it was like home from home .

Southview Amble is in a perfect location, huge field right outside the front door, our dog Vinnie loved every minute of his stay, our nephew thoroughly enjoyed having a choice of 3 beaches on the door step, you can walk for miles, amble itself on the door step, you can stay local or venture further afield beaches are fab, then back to South View after a long day to chill, everything you need for your stay cleverly thought out also clean, bright & spacious, thanks for our welcome pack, lovely property.
