The house is in a great location for visiting the surrounding areas and its a real home from home with everything for a comfortable stay and warm and welcoming after a day sightseeing. The welcome pack was the best and the Victoria sponge was beautiful and light, and even a treat for our four legged friend, we will definitely recommend and wouldnt hesitate to book again if we in the area
The property is absolutely gorgeous, there was everything we needed to make it a comfortable stay. Lizzies welcome gifts were a lovely surprise and much appreciated. The house was lovely and warm despite the cold weather. The location of number 17 is perfect, very close to shops and the centre of Amble as well as being convenient to visit surrounding areas.

We had a lovely week in No 17. The house is really well laid out and the social areas are spacious. The white fluffy towels are pure luxury. It is really well equipped with lots of china and cutlery. Lizzy had made a huge chocolate cake we all enjoyed. There were other treats including some for the dogs. Thank you. We think this is a great property. The beach is close by and there lots of green spaces to walk. Warkworth, Alnmouth and Alnwick are within easy reach. It is a lovely home in a central location and easily located. We had no difficulty in parking our 3 cars outside the property. We would happily recommend it.

We had the best short stay in Number Seventeen in Amble. The property was clean and comfortable and the welcome pack of goodies was much appreciated. It is set in the perfect location for touring the area and comes highly recommended.
Holiday started well with a great welcome pack with a beautiful sandwich cake. The home is very well equipped with plenty of glasses, cutlery, crockery and pans etc. All rooms are a great size and very comfortable. We had a great time. I would recommend this holiday home.
Property was clean and had everything you could want and a short walk to the harbour, pubs and eateries.

Jessica
A lovely property in a great location, with the best equipped kitchen we've ever come across in a holiday rental. Perfect for a large family holiday and great for exploring that part of Northumberland and the coast.
Excellent location close to centre and harbour but very peaceful. Lots of room comfortably accommodated 3 couples, high standard of furnishings and decoration and every utensil you could possibly need. Great welcome pack including wine and huge delicious home baked cake. Owner obviously wants to provide the best experience for guests
Lizzy was a great property owner. She was friendly and left a lovely welcome pack for us. The property was exactly as described and very spacious.
Lindsey
No 17 is a wonderful house, larger than perhaps you would think, cosy and well equipped. The bedrooms are all comfortable, the living room easily sits 6 as does the dining table. For eating in, there is a large range of pans, dishes, crockery and cutlery. The welcome pack was the best we've ever received, homemade cake and a bottle of bubbles included! It's an easy walk to the sandy beach, and to Paddlers Park, for those with children wanting swings etc. A great base either to be lazy and do little in, or to get out and about to explore the local area.

Just had a lovely stay at No 17 for a long weekend. It easily accommodated several adults and a couple of dogs in homely comfort. Amble itself is a lovely harbour town with loads to do and see within walking distance or just a short drive away. No 17 is just a few minutes walk from the harbour and town with a range of restaurants, pubs and bars, cafes, takeaways and handy shops. Parking was a breeze, managing to get 3 cars almost outside the front door without any problems. We also had an electric car which we managed to charge effortlessly within a few minutes of the house. There were plenty of chargers which didnt seem to be used much. The house itself is lovely, clean and deceptively large with spacious and comfortable dining and living rooms, a useful downstairs toilet, a shared bathroom and a lovely bedroom which I managed to bag!! with en suite and a separate bath in the bedroom on the top floor. It has a well equipped kitchen and small but attractive outside area which I imagine would be lovely in the summer. I would recommend without hesitation and would happily go back again.
What a lovely cottage so homely. A nice arrival basket awaited us. Lots of pillows for the beds and towels. The cottage was a 5 min walk to the harbour and beaches such a lovely home
Beautiful home that was so comfortable to stay in with all the amenities you need for a large family. We arrived to a lovely home made cake with fresh flowers on the table and other goodies. So close to the harbour , beaches and other local attractions.
Lovely house, very clean, lovely for the dogs too. Only minor issue is the enclosed yard could do with a bit of tlc. Not overly inviting. House itself is wonderful as was the welcome pack.
We had a fabulous stay here. The property was very clean and comfortable and much more spacious than we had imagined! Plenty of street parking too. We will be back!
Hannah
It was everything it was described to be. Comfortable, well furnished especially the beds, our granddaughter loved the top bunk!, well equipped kitchen. The closeness to the port, a five minute walk away was a bonus especially for fresh fish lovers. And the welcome tray was all it was claimed to be, a super sponge cake! Thank you. We might even make it again. So much to see and do in the area.
Number 17 was a fabulous property. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. It was immaculate. The welcome pack was the loveliest I've ever had..including large Victoria sponge from local bakery and prosecco. It was great location for exploring Northumberland. Amble Harbour was very sweet..especially when the sun came out. We would love to go again. Minor suggestions..Full length mirror in bedrooms would be useful and backyard needs some TLC!
Sandra
A well equipped property with plenty of room for six adults. We were very comfortable. The best welcome pack ever! Parking in the street outside was fine, even on a bank holiday weekend. A chair or two in the master bedroom would have been nice. I like a quiet place to read. Friendly owners and neighbours. We had a lovely time and wished we could have stayed longer.
Number 17 is a fabulous house to stay in, felt like home from home with all the comforts needed. Great location, superbly kitted out, comfortable beds & sofas. Best welcome pack ever, lovely home made Victoria sponge which made a great birthday cake for one of our group. Great communication from owner of property. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a good size good value place to stay in Amble.
A fabulous house for our family of 8 and 2 dogs. There was nothing to fault, simply superb and the additional treats and welcome pack were greatly appreciated. We would love to return. Amble is a super place to give us the family holiday we wanted and Number 17 the perfect place to accommodate us!
Lovely well equipped holiday house in an ideal location for exploring the surrounding area. Owners left a lovely welcome pack too!
Fabulous Number 17! We stayed here over the New Year and what a wonderful stay the owner contacted me by text before we arrived so if I had any questions or needed anything I had contact. The house is great one of the best we have stayed in the owner left us generous welcome gift which was very much appreciated and well thought out. The house was spotless furnishings lovely and the kitchen was so well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The owner has thought of everything and the little things too! There were 6 of us 5 adults and a 15 year old we had plenty of room we never felt overcrowded. The house is a 5 minute walk to the harbour and a lovely beach. There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops within a few minutes walk we liked the Harbour Inn down the street which served good food and had a lovely atmosphere. I cannot recommend Number 17 highly enough, so much so we have booked for next year!
Vanessa
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at No 17. The house is lovingly furnished and a real homefromhome, which is what you want when you are having a family holiday particularly at Christmas. I have to say, the Christmas decorations were beautiful and really enhanced our experience. The location was perfect for exploring the coast and so lucky to have lovely pubs and restaurants in walking distance. A mirror in the attic bedroom would've been nice, but otherwise, faultless!
Very comfortable and well equipped property. Will definitely book again.
Christine
The property exceeded our expectations! The owner has thought of everything to ensure guests have a comfortable stay. We were also impressed with a great welcome pack which allowed us to settle in before heading to a shop! Children particularly appreciated toys and books! All rooms were nicely decorated and sofas and beds very comfortable. The house is in an ideal position to walk to local amenities and the harbour and Amble is a great central point to visit other areas such as Alnwick. All in all a great stay. Thank you.
Audrey

Had a lovely break. The property is very spacious and very well equipped. Our children loved the games and toys provided. The house was really clean and comfortable.
Stunning family home with everything you could need. The extras were amazing including a pint of milk, prosecco and a cake. So close to local amenities.

A spacious and comfortable home that would suit a family or group of friends. Probably one of the best equipped houses we have ever rented. Location is brilliant for the many fabulous beaches, countryside and tourist attractions the area has to offer.
