Great cottage in excellent location for walkers. Some walks straight from door whilst Langdale Valley is only a 10 min drive. The cottage is well equipped throughout, especially the kitchen, the only thing it lacks is a tumble dryer. Lounge furniture and beds all very comfy and shower is excellent, powerful and hot. Gardens are a true delight, our dog loved cooling off in the small stream. We will be booking again for next year.

Ellers Close is a warm cosy cottage with a beautiful garden (for both humans and dogs). Ideally located with easy access to Ambleside and the Langdale Valleys. Plenty of local walks both high and low but not too far to get to routes to other parts of the Lakes. Nothing better than a good walk and then return to a welcoming and comfortable fire in the cosy lounge looking out onto glorious views. A special place.

We had such a wonderful stay and loved Ellers Close. The location is fabulous, so peaceful, and it proved a great base for exploring the local fells. The house is very warm, clean and comfortable, with beautiful views from every window. Our children loved the garden and we all enjoyed watching the birds at the feeders. We hope to return and would not hesitate to recommend the place to others.
