Bay View Reviews

A wonderful property, only complaint we have is that the front door step needs another layer. I am partially disabled following an earlier accident and I found the step to be too deep. Otherwise absolutely no complaints about the property at all. Very comfortable and a lovely location.
Great property in a great location.

House as described in a good position for beach and town on road parking plus pass for small car park and parking permit for many different places overall a great place to stay the view out of the dining room window is just brilliant enjoyed our week

The house is lovely with a great view at the front onto grass, a bay, a pier and beyond to Warkworth Castle. A wellequipped kitchen and the bedrooms at the rear look over the back yard and the neighbours yards. The central heating in November was quick and controllable we didn't use the 'fake' flame electric fire in the living room. The showers were powerful with a shower pump in a cupboard in the front good views bedroom so quite a noise when bathing. The TV has a DVD player and freeview channels but the remote control was a bit hesitant and we couldn't populate the channel guide so used our phones to check when programs were starting. For the location and facilities we'd totally recommend this house.
Our favourite property in our favourite location.

Totally enjoyed our 2 week stay at Bay View. The facilities were excellent and as per the listing. The views across Little Shore were spectacular from first light to sundown. The town amenities were easily accessible. The owner was friendly and approachable.

We enjoyed our stay and everything was very clean. We had wondered if parking would be a problem, but it wasnt and there were plenty of free places available. Lovely to sit in the sheltered back garden, a real sun trap, and we were so lucky with the weather, having sunshine each day! Agree with other comments on the squeaking double bed! Great to be able to see the beach and sea and to have plenty of shops to explore. Good choice of places to eat. A great holiday, thank you!
We had a fabulous stay at Bay view. The house was lovely and probably the best equipped of any we have stayed in. The views over the bay were lovely. The town of Amble is lovely and we had a fantastic time helped by the lovely November sunshine
A cottage in a great location, with everything you need for a self catering holiday . Modern dinerlounge, good size kitchen very well equipped with everything you need . Bathroom was large , and handy to have the ensuite as well. and beds all very comfortable . Would definitely recommend this property to someone wanting to stay in Amble.
Very clean house which is deceptively large. A bit TARDIS like

The cottage is in a fantastic location. The town of Amble is excellent with a large variety of eating establishments all providing excellent food and very friendly service. The cottage is well equipped. Two of the bedrooms are cramped although adequate. The ensuite toilet and shower is effectively a cupboard but the bathroom is plenty big enough with an over bath shower. Overall we had a lovely vacation in a beautiful, natural part of Great Britain and would thoroughly recommend visiting this location

We had a fantastic time at Bayview! We fell in love with Northumberland! There is so much to see and do and the most amazing beaches and scenery. The house was in a fantastic location with beautiful views of the beach and Amble pier. The house itself is modern and clean and we felt perfectly at home. We have even booked to stay again next summer! It was perfect for my children! There are plenty of beaches within walking distance and an excellent park just round the corner. There are also plenty of restaurants, Cafes and shops. We ate on the harbour front at the fish shack twice and had delicious food. The large play area and gardens at Annick Castle were amazing. We also went on a puffin cruise and saw 900 seals close up, but unfortunately no puffins as they had all migrated the month before. We only ate in the house twice But all of the cooking equipment was great and we cooked the most delicious halibut and cod that we bought fresh from the harbour in Amble, which is a two minute walk away. I have been recommending Bayview and Northumberland itself to all of my friends
Beautifully presented home, well equipped kitchen, and fantastic location. We will definitely be back. Only gripe was the extremely noisy stairs, and bed in the master bedroom. Not enough to put us off returning though.
We loved the cottage, it was very clean and well maintained. We loved being able to eat meals overlooking the bay. The location was excellent with easy access to shops, bars and restaurants.
We had a brilliant stay and the property was just as we wanted it, comfy, well equipped and a great location in Amble and for the rest of the Northumberland coast. A great week will definitely be back.

A lovely property, owner very helpful and friendly. In a great situation and beautifully decorated.
Great location. Lovely cottage. Well equipped.
Right on the beach, has everything you would need. Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits was a lovely touch. Sunrises and sunsets in Amble are amazing, and, if you don&39t fancy a wander, you can watch them from the front room in their full splendour.
Clean and well furnished. Great situation, especially for children.
Clean, warm house. Great base to explore this lovely county.
